Brent Hudson of the Corporate Office participated in his fourth Ride for Roswell bike ride to raise funds for Roswell Park Cancer Institute, one of the nations 10 centers of excellence for cancer research. Hudson raised over $5,000 and was among the top 25 individual fund raisers. In addition, Brent’s team made up of family members and Sara Larkin, a Buffalo Branch associate, made the list of top 25 fundraising teams. Brent was riding in honor of his sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer in February, 2007.

The 12th annual Ride for Roswell brought together more than 5,000 cyclists and 600 volunteers to raise a record $1.5 million to fuel groundbreaking research to end cancer and save lives. Over 300 teams representing families, corporations, religious and community organizations, as well as hundreds of individual riders rode to honor loved ones, co-workers and friends who have courageously faced cancer; to celebrate survivorship; and to make a difference for tomorrow’s cures at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
